Sam
Update 5/13/2008 "...He knows his name and he can “sit”, “come”, (lay) “down”, and “stay” (about 60% of the time.)  J  He’s a happy little fellow and loves his
yard and his toys.  He can “Git it!” his toys and will fetch and “drop it”  at my feet and then he will sit down. (Good Boy!)  We’ve been walking down to the lake
(almost) every day.  He hasn’t gone in yet, but he thinks it tastes just fine.  He didn’t like his leash much at first, but now he’s walking well with some exceptions.

The cats aren’t afraid of him but they keep their distance just the same.  The little one let him smell it and everything was going well until he barked at it which
made it jump out of its skin.  Then it bolted, and, of course, he had to chase it at breakneck speed, and ended up wiping out on the wood floor at the end of the
hall.   The big cat is keeping an eye on him.  When a dog wags his tail he’s happy…so wouldn’t it make sense that when a cat wags its tail it’s happy too??  Sam
found out this is not the case when Heidi the big cat rabbit punched him several days ago in a flurry that would have made Sugar Ray Robinson very proud."

Sam is growing and looking really
good.  Looks like he took after his
Aunt Lady with the Frisbee.  I
love his ears.
